Maintenance Policy

1. “Maintenance” is defined as keeping web site content and images up to date. Maintenance is not intended for redesign or creation of new web media. Sampled (dotorg) Design reserves the right to distinguish between updates / maintenance, and new design work.
   
   
2. Updates will be completed within 24 hours of the time they are received, excluding weekends and holidays. Updates received after 6:00pm EST are not guaranteed to be completed until the following business day.
   
   
3. Maintenance time is calculated in 1 hour intervals rounded up. A 1 hour minimum is charged for all updates completed.
   
   
4. Sampled requests that all updates be provided electronically when possible (email). This ensures typographical changes are exact and can be completed more swiftly. Updates should be either included in the update request email or attached to the email in either .txt or .doc (MS Word) formats. Images should be in either .jpg or .gif format when possible. Updates can be sent via postal mail if arrangements are made ahead of time.
   
   
5. We take pride in completing update requests accurately and quickly, however it is the client's responsibility to ensure all updates are preformed correctly. Proofreading and spell check are strongly advised before an update is sent to us. If an error occurs and it is caused by our oversight then you will incur no charge for the update. If the error is caused by the client's negligence then the regular update fee will be applied for correction.
   
   
6. Sampled (dotorg) Design takes NO responsibility for changes made to the clients web site by the client or a third party on behalf of the client. We will repair / fix incorrect changes that were NOT made by sampled (dotorg) at twice the regular update fee.
